Takaful IKHLAS Captures Takaful Industry''S Corporate Social Responsibility Award

KUALA LUMPUR, March 21 (Bernama) -- Takaful Ikhlas Sdn Bhd (Takaful IKHLAS) recently received an award for Corporate Social Responsibility category at the Takaful Awards Night organised for the second time by the Malaysian Takaful Association.

"Today's Corporate Social Responsibility is a means for an organization to be successful in business. Basically, it is a set of transparent and ethical action to 'return', preserve and help the development of various environments in which the company operates.

The purpose is to contribute to each and every one of its business partner, customer and source, without whom the organization would not be able to achieve success and advancement," said President and Chief Executive Officer of Takaful IKHLAS Datuk Hj Syed Moheeb bin Syed Kamarulzaman in a statement today.

"The award given to Takaful IKHLAS is an invaluable recognition. The presence of Takaful IKHLAS in providing aids and making those facing with social, economic, environmental and health problems to smile does not just matters in shaping social balance but also social benefits.

Takaful IKHLAS practices the philosophy of shared social responsibility which prioritises the society's importance in our business strategies. We are thankful for being able to contribute to those in needs," he added.

At the event, Takaful IKHLAS had also won four more awards namely: BancaTakaful: Top Person Producer Award, BancaTakaful: Top Person Producer Award - Investment-Link Regular, BancaTakaful: Top Person Producer Award - Investment - Link Single and Young Takaful Manager Award.
